Nicole Macaulay is the author and she has a great lead who is an unexpected girl next door and her pitfalls and successes really make for a great read for a club! I highly recommend this book to everyone; it is an insightful novel.

Writing: Tenderly told, in present-day timeline and flashbacks and from one point of view, the writing is graceful and beautiful. Bryan Stevenson said in his book that you cannot really fully understand a problem unless you allow yourself to get very close to it. Starting next Thursday I have to isolate myself from the rest of the family for one week!
